Silver Member Username: Buddyleee5Post Number: 283 Registered: May-05 | is there a noticable difference between 5.25" infinity components and 6.5" focal components? I have a lincoln so the factory speakers are 6x8's so i can buy an already made adapter plate for 5.25's, but i would have to make an adapter plate for the 6.5's. I was told that i can make this adapter, but im not sure if it is even possible. Is it? |

Gold Member Username: TheelfkeeperStockbridge, GA USA Post Number: 2419 Registered: Feb-05 | you'll get a little more mid bass from a 6.5 inch woofer vs a 5.25. not anything spectacular though. you should be able to fit a 6.5 inch woofer in the 6x8 hole. might have to cut it a little. you'll notice a huge difference between thoes two brands though. what models are you talking about?? |
