My friend has memphis 10s hooked up to a 400watt amp and it sounds maybe like a tad lower than my friends type R's hooked up to an MRD10005 Alpine Amp 1000watt. But i havent heard the MB Quart and i really want to hear it but ask Rovin he had the MBQuart, so i dunno.
mb qts does more power obviously.. but the memphis 500d is quite powerfull...
I ran the MC500d which is 2ohm stable, at 1ohm for 1/2 year and it was pretty much almost like a 1000D. I plan on running some mid bass with it.. but nice amps.
dont know about memphis but i REALLY loved my MB amp when i had it , really gr8 SQ & clean power & it hardly ever gets warm - only sold mine cause i had intetions of buying a wcc.orion 2500D amp which i now own ......
i still miss that SQL amp almost daily - sometimes i feel like i should go buy back another 1 or 2 even now that its gotten even cheaper 'sigh !'
If u can still get 1 - rush it ! cause stock is almost depleted & new MB r on the way
havent really used my new orion only tested it twice as i need 2 upgrade my electrical system badly as this REALLY draws alot of current & a extra batt or 2 is a must ....
