So, it's that time of year where I look for upgrades on my current system. I'm currently running 2 10" Alpine Type R's on a 1000 watt Alpine amp and I enjoy it. I bought upgrades to my electrical system already and am now looking for new subs. I am in love with the idea of the 04 Diamond Audio TDX as they handle more watts than the new D9 and are the best subs I have ever heard. I have also looked into JL Audio W6v2 and W7, along with Eclipse 9000 series. I love my 10" now, but am willing to upgrade to 12's. I'm just looking for recommendations because I'm tired of thinking about it so any help would be great. Also, if you recommend any amps, that would be much appreciated as well.
I guess I'm not really setting a limit on it. I havent really looked at anything over 2000 watts but, I'm open to the suggestion. Just nothing outrageous like a 12,000 watt system running 6 amps and 12 subs... 8-)
