Silver Member Username: ShawnomakSask Canada Post Number: 309 Registered: May-05 | I made a game like that in computer science last semester. No matter what numbers you use it will be a multiple of 9. Nobody had any idea how I did it. Teacher was mad because I wouldn't tell her how I did it :-) |

Silver Member Username: PapsYuma, AZ Post Number: 203 Registered: Mar-06 | LOL @ JC thats not how the symbol is known... lol i can right down how it was done if u want, but i dont want to spoil it incase someone wants to keep it a secrete... |
Silver Member Username: PapsYuma, AZ Post Number: 204 Registered: Mar-06 | well since everyone seems to know how it was done now, ill post it anyways... |
Gold Member Username: JakeyplaysbassSt. Louis, MO Post Number: 1153 Registered: Jul-05 | no actually your answer always ends up being a multiple of 9. 38...3+8=11...38-11=27. 94...9+4=13...94-13=81. so on and so on. |
Gold Member Username: JakeyplaysbassSt. Louis, MO Post Number: 1154 Registered: Jul-05 | wow that was way way late...my bad |
Silver Member Username: PapsYuma, AZ Post Number: 205 Registered: Mar-06 | ***SPOILER ALERT***SPOILER ALERT***SPOILER ALERT***SPOILER ALERT*** DO NOT READ BELOW UNLESS YOU REALLY WANT TO KNOW HOW THIS WAS DONE!!! lol no JC, if u pick any 2 digit number (lets pick 15 since thats todays date), then add the 2 digits together (1+5=6). then subtract that from ur original number (15-6=9) the number will always be a multiple of 9 (ie. 9, 18, 27, 36, 45 etc...) and look when it comes to the screen to "look for your number" look at all the multiples of 9. they are all the same sign... try doing any number, ur end result is always gonna be either: 9 18 27 36 45 54 63 72 81 90 dont believe me...? 56 5+6=11 56-11=45!!! 48 4+8=12 48-12=36!!! Kinda had me fooled at first too lol |
Gold Member Username: RedlinerWilmington, Ma Post Number: 1994 Registered: Jun-05 | and then the sign switches everytime you do it lol thats still pretty cool though if you dont know how to do it |
Silver Member Username: Camaro823British Colu... Canada Post Number: 364 Registered: Jun-05 | lol, well makes me look like a fool, first time i tried it i did what i said and that symbol showed up, so I thought that was how, ah well my bad. |
Gold Member Username: PelonaPerris, California USA Post Number: 1575 Registered: Dec-05 | lol i did it and my symbol didnt come up lol i must of added my numbers wrong |
Gold Member Username: MixneffectOrangevale, Ca. USA Post Number: 1029 Registered: Apr-05 | I did it, and the symbol came the first couple of times. But then I just clicked on next, next, next, etc... to see if the symbols are random. After a few trys, the symbols just came up randomly. They did not come up as I picked out. |
Silver Member Username: ShortysetniesRock Vegas, NC US Post Number: 268 Registered: Mar-06 | But if you look, the multiples of 9 are always the same when you do it. they change everytime but stay the same as each other (if that made sense) |
Silver Member Username: ShawnomakSask Canada Post Number: 314 Registered: May-05 | Oh man, that was a good computer science class.. I made a form with a list of numbers with a symbol beside it, a message box that had something like, "pick a two digit number.." and so on, like that ^^^ then when you click the next command button, a flashing thing comes up, flashes black and white really fast then the symbol comes up. Later on I randomized it so the symbols were different. haha, my poor teacher was so clueless. Gotta say there's some smart people on Ecoustics, alot smarter than my teachers. lol Heres some good news.. I went to color night at my school last night, and I got a bronze medal for academics in my grade. Im s-m-r-t. :-D |
