I currently have two 12" subs in my trunk. I was thinking of adding maybe 1 15" sub. How does that sound? Is it bad due to the different sizes of the subs?
I've never really heard too much about having different sized subs at the same time.
yea a buddy of mine was trying to convince me that i fyou have 2 12" and put a 10 then a 15 in with them on seperate amp it would so awsome beacause the 15 would ge tthe deep and the 10 would get the quick slapping bass
YOU CAN DO IT BUT IT HAS TO BE DNOE RIGHT. tHE 15 WOULD PLAY THE LOWEST OF THE BASS AROUND 40HZ AND DOWN WHILE THE 12S WOULD PLAY POSSIBLY 40HZ UP TO 100HZ. YOU NEED CROSSOVERS FOR THEM AND ALSO YOU WOULD NEED TO MAKE SURE THERE IS NO CANCELLATION. MANY SHOW CARS LIKE THE ALPINE'S HAVE MULTIPLE SUBS BUT THEY SPEND ALOT OF MONEY MAKING THEM SOUND RIGHT, MORE THAN YOU OR I WOULD SPEND. JUST BUY BETTER QUALITY 12'S.
