I have searched and learned a little, but have a long way to go. So.....please be gentle.....and dumb it down for me. I am looking for amp recommendations for a single kicker 8" L7 and a set of Alpine SPX-177R components. I know the sub is not the best SQ sub out there. The space I have is limited and I already have the box for my truck. I do not have the sub yet, so I will have the option of either the 2ohm or 4ohm. Do the # of watts to the sub have any bearing on SQ with this sub? I have considered the Alpine MRV-F345(enough RMS?) or the MRV-F545(too much RMS?). What do you guys recommend? Thanks for the help. |
