Posted on here is one way: burp your system: and check AC voltage at the speaker terminals...check the AC current on the + speaker wire. (you will need a clamp meter) Volts x Amps = watts this tell you what the amp is giving the speaker at a given freq. (the sub will see different amounts of power at different freqencies) to see what your box rise is...burp w/ a given freq and check current and voltage just like above. Volts / Amps = ohms this will show your box rise at each freq (the load the amp is actually seeing at each freq). ***this does not take into account clipping...if your amp is clipping, the readings will be off*** |
