Yes, the Rubicon is one of their 'old school' amps made around 1997. It was around then when Soundstream went into forced bankruptcy and was sold to the Maxxsonics company...they were sold again to Power Acoustik since then.
Thanks, can't find too much about these on the web. I know all of their older ones were blue but did not know if they still made them in this style after the change.
the soundstream amps used toget hot and fire would magicly appear out of them . the resistrs on the boards were NOT sand wound or fireproof resistors. had 3 guy burn the amps up./ so if ya gonna get one make sure it has the fireproof sesistrs on the board by the output chips( they should be grey in color)
