Thursday, June 08, 2006 - 05:01 GMT 1500 is just the thermal power rating, not the rms...750 is the rms

Thursday, June 08, 2006 - 13:28 GMT thats what i figured... just like all other subs, but i thaught i remember hearing they are rated per voice coil. i might match one with my jl e series amp, or i still might go with the crystal comp. the only thing is... the eclipse ti will be getting 800 watts rms and the Crystal comp only 480 because it's wired @ 4 ohms.

Thursday, June 08, 2006 - 14:04 GMT i called up eclipse/figitsu ten and talked to one of the tech guys and he told me that the titaniums were rated per vc on the website so they are 1500wrms total. also i am giving my eclipse ti 1600wrms daily and i works great.

Thursday, June 08, 2006 - 14:17 GMT you should definately give it more than 800wrms. i used be giving it 1200wrms and it was pretty loud but now at 1600 it really shines.

Friday, June 09, 2006 - 01:08 GMT not to be a d!ck, but with so much confusion, blk02ss call them and ask for urself.... Ask them what is the rms, not thermal power handling(thats how i blem my brahma) ask them how much power u can give it without voiding the warranty...

Friday, June 09, 2006 - 03:51 GMT If you build your box right, 200 watts RMS will make it hit. With 800, you'll be fine. I'd go 3.5cu/ft. tuned to 35Hz or 32Hz, depending on your listening style.
