im getting 2 12" alpine type r's which is better to get 2ohm or 4ohm...putting them in a vented box.

i have a pioneer 760 but i dont plan to power those beasts with it what amp would you reccomend?

kicker2500.1 and 2 dual 2 ohm type R in series u would have really good SQ and get really loud! Or u could have the kicker1200.1 and 2 dual 4's either is a good setup

whats ur budget ?

usually 1 ohms stable amps r more available & costs less than buying a bigger amp & running it @ 2ohms .

4 those Rs buy a good 1200wrms @ 1ohm stable amp ....

Well I have a 2ch UL 2800 1400.2 amp powering my 2 4 ohm R's That I am thinking of selling Because I want a mono amp.

I am asking 200 shipped in the US, if your interested.

But a MB quart raa1000.1, Kicker KX1200.1, almost anything that is 1000RMS - 1400RMS @ 1ohm will work. If you get 4ohm subs. :-)

1000wattrms? what about the kicker 1200.1 thats 1200rms at 1 ohm

Those R's can handle up to 700RMS all day.

my advice 2 12" type X's they would sound hella good and be very loud! I got 2 10's the SQ is insane and the SPL is fairly good i am in the 140 range
