Yeah, I would have no problem buying a factory refurb amp. Especially since you can get them so cheap. I feel a little uncomforatble with refubished subs though.
this is how I look at it. In a factory, perhaps 1 out of every few hundred (if that) is tested to see how it performs. A few bad ones may have passed through without anyone knowing it. However, a factory refurb must pass MANY tests to ensure it holds up to what it's supposed to do and work as good as new. This way, if it's factory refurb, then they are not going to let it go if it doesn't perform like it's supposed to. Then you know that your product has been tested throughly to ensure it works properly
I got a refurb, it had problems, send it to the manufacture, still under warranty, the sent out a new, (not referb) replacement. Luck me. As long as its warrantied, I buy refurb over used off Ebay anyday.
