Well I got 2 12" FUsion Powerplatns wired up in 4ohm mono powered by a Audiobahn A8002V amp in a ported to 37hz box. What if i bought another fusion powerplant 12" and put all 3 in a sealed box and used the same amp but still at 4ohm mono! Would it be any louder? Which set up would hit harder and be the loudest? It is in Ext. cab sonoma! thanks everyone |

Silver Member Username: Alias747MN Post Number: 996 Registered: Apr-05 | No that amp is not 1-ohm stable, meaning that you cannot run any load lower than 4 ohms when it is bridged. If you hook up 2.67 ohms to that amp whne it is bridged you will have problems don't do it! BTW, how on earth do you get 6 ohms with 3 DVC 4-ohm subs? It's impossible. |

Silver Member Username: Yamahabanshee1Paulding, Ohio USA Post Number: 317 Registered: Jul-04 | in 6ohm? |
Gold Member Username: Basshead86Google is your Friend, FL Post Number: 3635 Registered: Aug-05 | EVEN IF.....you somehow manage to wire it someway other than 2.67 ohms....it will not give the subs sufficient power....and you will either be very upset at how NOT loud it is....or you will burn up the amp....its that simple. |
Gold Member Username: Basshead86Google is your Friend, FL Post Number: 3636 Registered: Aug-05 | the higher the ohms.....aka the higher the impedance the amp will see.....the lower the output power. if you wire them to 6.....they will get VERY little power. |
