On the kicker manual for my cvr it says to go ported with between 1.75-2.5 cuft of airspace. Would it make a difference between an enclosure at 1.75cuft tuned to 32 and an enclosure at 2.5cuft tuned to 32?? Would there be any sound difference?? Thanx guyz.
My rule of thumb is 2.5 for 12's an d 3.5cf for 15's but have also found 4.5 to be AWESOME for 15's too... I would say 3.0cf for a 12 hung deep (low port) and 2.0-2.5 tuned high 38-43hz..Polo.
Thanx polo but would 2 enclosures tuned the same with same subs but with different volume, sound really different?? I probably gonna go with 2cuft each cvr cuz i dont got much room in my trunk. Thanx .
