on the manual of my dls MW 110, it recommands a ported box and says sealed is not recommanded. can a subwoofer be designed so that it actually benefits from the characteristics of a sealed enclosure when put in a ported box? meaning it will sound even tighter and faster with a ported box. or do they just say this cuz they believe most customers won't be saticefied with the loudness of this woofer when put in a sealed enclosure?
if it says sealed not recomended that means that its mainly a SPL woofer. if its ok with either enclosure it can go both ways. the enclosuer has alot to do with the type of sound it produces
