U should have got the Infinity 12dvq's. Same price better sub. There is nothing wrong with Infinity amps other than they r hard to match up to subs. Lol, u got some sherwood amps, been a long time sine ive seen one of those. I think I might still have one out in my garage. Has the power, ground, and remote built into it. Oldschool.
The reason is - I have tried both - nice A/B's and nice (so they say) D's. All with very good HU's - CDA7930 and CDA7995 and a few different subs AND, sorry, but I just hate the way D sounds, it's so boomy, sloppy and nasty, btw, I have never had my subs LowPassed higher than 90hz. I hear a great deal of difference between let's say PG Tantrum 500.2 bridged and PPI 1500 (PCX or something). The PPI dealer said: man these things are so clean, so I bought it. Turns out, his standards were much lower than mine
