Tuesday, May 23, 2006 - 21:57 GMT I stopped in at a pawn shop to see if there was anything good there, So the guy says what are you looking for? I say subs and amps. He pulls out this sony amp and says this is a good amp for subs..( its a 4 channel) So i say can I hear it? and I point to a sony dvc sub. This kid has no idea how to wire an amp or sub, he puts the + on both coils and the same with the -. (2 ohm load) then he bridges the amp. It plays for a second then he turns up the gain.. The amp goes into protect as smoke spits out of the sub then the amp goes dead. I say, I think im gonna keep looking, and walk out.

Tuesday, May 23, 2006 - 22:10 GMT I think he just put the stuff back on the shelf to sell to someone else that loves sony. Its not like he owned the shop, Someone else will buy it install it and be funked. No returns from pawnshops.
