It may sound like a lot, but it is a must compared to what happens when your alt. dies. You have to get towed and then may not be able to shop around for an alt. The place you tow it too will stick you pretty good knowing your desperate to get your car running again. I know from experience. |

Gold Member Username: RzarectorCoquitlam, Bc Canada Post Number: 1212 Registered: Dec-04 | i think you screwed yourself over and rushed into this.. you should have waited a bit before buying the subs to get more info on things.. when u start going above a system that is 1000 watts it gets expensive.. be prepared to spend 350 on an alternator that you absolutely need.. then heavy gauge wiring (can be bought for cheaper at welding supply stores).. and of course a 2000 wrms amp.. if course u can cheap out and buy one for next to nothing but it wont last and sure as hell wont push 2000 watts |
