Bronze Member Username: KpowersPost Number: 23 Registered: May-06 | I was getting ready to buy this sub and still might... does anyone know a good sub caomparable to the W7 at a better price than the W7? |
Gold Member Username: TheelfkeeperStockbridge, GA USA Post Number: 2171 Registered: Feb-05 | there are plenty of subs that are comparable to the W7's that cost way less. from my own personal experience, i just switched from a 13W7 to a Treo SSI 15 and i'd never go back to the W7's. other brands to look at would be Ascendant Audio Havoc and Arsenal, IDMAX, Adire Brahma, Crystal...just to name a few. |

Gold Member Username: TheelfkeeperStockbridge, GA USA Post Number: 2189 Registered: Feb-05 | don't get an H2. they are cheap, yes, but require tons of power and still don't sound good. IDQ's don't require a lot of power and sound great from what i've heard. haven't had a chance to hear one in person, but i've heard no complaints about them. or if you want to wait or find one on ebay, the IDMAX is a step up from the IDQ. they aren't currently made. new versions are being worked on. |

I have never heard 15's, I imagine they are still pretty accurate for the size of driver. Very good value for the money. |
