Silver Member Username: Thomas_gNM Post Number: 553 Registered: Oct-05 | I have 2 12" cvr's dual 4 ohm 1 in box w/ slot port tuned to 32hz and 1 in box w/slot port tuned to 35hz each with 2.20 cuft of airspace. 1 268 lanzar amp with not sure wut but a lil over 900rms with both bridged for 4 ohm load. Pioneer HU, and i think PA wiring kit 4gage. Its fu*kin loud! Hey stevo did u hook up ur cvrs yet? |
Gold Member Username: Dustin3Tigard, Or U.S. Post Number: 1154 Registered: Oct-05 | malik - dont go with the l5, u will be alot happier if u got a better amp and ran those cvr's correctly. the l5's are square which mean that It has a limited excursion, and suffers from increased stress points due to is shape. |

Silver Member Username: Thomas_gNM Post Number: 554 Registered: Oct-05 | Bassman how do ur cvrs sound w/both tuned to 32hz? I bet songs like late night tip sound fu*kin great! |
New member Username: ImalikJackson, New Jersey Ocean Post Number: 3 Registered: May-06 | I have a Hi fonics bx 1000d I know its not the best amp but I dont think its a bad amp for the cvr's |
Bronze Member Username: KillswitchjdPost Number: 87 Registered: Apr-06 | I have two cvr's, in ported boxes they only need 300 rms each... which is what my amp will be giving them, after I get my alternator in...yes they get loud with okay sound quality, and they are affordable. Ported boxes are a must |
Bronze Member Username: StnorrisPost Number: 82 Registered: Apr-06 | Tj - yeah i got my subs hooked up. I need someone to help me getting the sq better though. I accidently hooked the subs up wrong and them playing for awhile. I hope that didnt mess anything up. the subs sound okay for now, but i definantly need to put sound deadner on the trunk and trunk lid!!! Then i need to keep tweaking the amp. Does your lanzar have bass boost? if so, whats it set at, and whats the bass on your HU set at? |
