Thursday, May 18, 2006 - 02:12 GMT I have a pioneer deh-p680mp installed in my car and i want to add new speakers. It's owners manualsays that its load impedance is 4-8 ohms, but would it damage the head unit if i were to put in 2 ohm impedance speakers?

Thursday, May 18, 2006 - 03:07 GMT They could be wired in series, but then the dB output would go down because a single channel of the headunit would have to power two simultaneously.
