Silver Member Username: Livin_loudNy Post Number: 125 Registered: Jan-06 | Well the higher the tuning the louder it is, but you also loose SQ. If it's SPL you want though, I would go 35-37hz at most. And here's all the dimensions you would need... |
Silver Member Username: Troy81Tavernier, Fl Us Post Number: 166 Registered: Mar-06 | is it alright if my port goes right to the top of the box? like a divider that doesnt go all the way to the back? because i was planning on making it 14.5 inches... and thank you verymuch by the way |

Silver Member Username: Livin_loudNy Post Number: 131 Registered: Jan-06 | Um, It'll be louder than anything tuned below it, but sound worse. You'll also loose your low end, and I don't think you want that. The audible difference I don't know though. I'd say go 36hz at the most, because it'll still be loud and give you decent lows. |
Silver Member Username: Livin_loudNy Post Number: 132 Registered: Jan-06 | didnt bump |
Silver Member Username: Troy81Tavernier, Fl Us Post Number: 239 Registered: Mar-06 | so will the low end jus comeppletely stop hitting or what? i dont understand that about that, or will it just not get the boost from the box |
Silver Member Username: Livin_loudNy Post Number: 134 Registered: Jan-06 | Personally, I don't know haha. My guess would be they'll loose a few dB's |
