I bought a type r 10 inch & put in a # 2 qlogic box.It sounds good but Im not impressed.Is any one using one in a qlogic #1 box?How does it sound?Im not even sure it will fit in a #1 box with the huge magnet.
my R is in a 1.65cuft 3" pipe ported box 33hz & IT DOES SLAM ! very decent SQ too .
Also have another box i sometimes switch my subs into - this 1 is 1.88cuft with a 3" pipe "adjustable" port tuned to 31Hz = really good SQ & sometimes i used a shorter 35hz port which gives off more SPL with still good SQ ......
My Type X is loud and sounds really deep i love it i have it in a ported box that was desinged for SQ prob tuned around 32 HZ it still slams hard and sounds really clear and iam running 1300watts rms to it and it can still take more
