I got that, its great if u want a dvd system in ur ride, but its not to great when it comes to music repoduction. My friends pioneer premier p860dh<<<or whatever.. sounds much better

preout voltage will only effect the strength of the signal going to your amp. with less voltage it may require you to turn your gain up on the amp which can lead to distortion, can. Is it bad, probably not especially if you get an amp with some overhead on it. If you're running an amp that will grossly underpower the speaker than you could run into some problems.
