yeah heres one of mine its bad cause the amps angled up into the trunk but i love it and wouldnt trade it for the world. Kinda looks small compared to the 15 but that amp is a heavy one for sure.

Yeah Im not pushing all 5000watts out so i'm only using one coming off a capacitor thats hooked up to my two batterys. And if you sub is 2 ohm dvc like mine is I ran it to one ohm and ran the amp bridged by putting one positive in and one negetive in

I started with all my gains at half way and moved them while I had my sub playing to a bass tester song. There must be something worng with your wiring that yous amp is making your sub pop like that. Did you buy the amp new or used?

Well with the 8g u might of just been choking the amp. Hopefully the 0 does the trick if not there must be something messed up in the wiring or something cause right off the bat my amp was cranking on the sub.

There's absolutely no point in running 0/1 wire to it if you're just going to cut the wire down to fit it in the 4 gauge terminals.
Gains for ANY amp should be set with an oscilloscope or a multimeter.
Make sure you fuse the line going to the amp also.
