so i just bought an IDMAX 12 D2 for the hell of it off of ebay, it slams real hard in my box, but my headlights dim LIKE CRAZY! now i had a XXX 12 (05 model) in the same box off of the same amp (RE 36.1 1800 @ 1 ohm) and it never made my lights dim this bad. so is the IDMAX a power hungry sub or is my second alt goin bad?? past 2-3 weeks i havent had a sub in my truck.
stock alt right now, 105 amp. i got a 200 amp alt, just havent installed it yet.
