I think I want the Boston S555's... something about them. And I can run two 12" and still be at 4ohms if I get the SVC-2ohm models. But what has better SQL then a W7? I just dont like when I put my 1000/1 on 60% gain and my headunit on 7/15 sub level.. I can feel it not keepin up wid the bass tones.
i reciently switched from a 13W7 ported to a Treo SSI 15 sealed and i like the Treo much better.
with the 13W7, i really had to crank it up to get any detail from it. then it just took over. just over all didn't sound good.
the Treo has presence and detail at almost any volume level. excellent SQ and blends nicely with my Profi Vanadium 3-ways. it seems just as loud as the 13W7 too, which supprised me.
i definally reccomend the SSI. Trevor mentioned some great subs too.
I love my SSIs, and i've only heard one sealed. I've never heard a W7 in a car, but i dont think you'll be disspointed with the Treos. Why don't you check out those 2 SSIs that guy is selling on here? I think he was wanting 200 for them.
go with a dd 9500 if you can get a hold of a 2500 watt amp and a ho alt if you dont have one already trust me you will not be disappointed it is a amazing sub
I dont care about loud. I care about SQ. I dont want to hear "BBLHHHHHHH" from bass. Im not going with more then one sub.. because there is only one kick-drum on stage at a concert and the recreation of one kick-drum into two subs I dont like the way it sounds.
Hrm... SSi 15" eh? Im putting this into an extended cab truck :-/... dont think I would fit down fire.
Im not getting another amp.. im staying with my 1000/1 but just getting a different sub
