Monday, May 08, 2006 - 05:47 GMT i don't think pioneer amps are stable lower than 2ohms, not sure though, so i don't think it'll work for that sub. and i would never put a pioneer amp on a jl sub, if your going to go with a great sub get an amp thats just as good.

Monday, May 08, 2006 - 05:55 GMT i got 1500 cash i need a new sub i have a premier PRS-D3000SPL amp what should I buy. i ve already blown 2 12 premiers both individually. burnt the voice coil. had the amp tuned by the guys (not naming what store) from the store which i bought it in. the told me these subs could not be blown with the amp I have. they said you have to break in the subs which i did. of course they warrentied the sub gave me a new one same thing happened... what givessssssssss

Monday, May 08, 2006 - 06:26 GMT pioneer subs suck, that could be the problem. or you could have been overpowering them, clipping them to death, etc. next time tune it yourself. what size sub you looking for and what you want-sq, spl, sql?

Monday, May 08, 2006 - 06:28 GMT i listen to a lot of hip hop and want a lot of bass. prolly SPL I though i was over powering them. i will have to agree premier 12" sub did suck. maybe with 2 bridged would have done me a world of good.
