so i got a $1000 budget to do what i want with my car stereo. i was wondering iridium 6.3 is just as good as having iridium 6.2 w/an iridium 10" sub. thx.
No. The 6.5 in both sets does a good job at mid-bass, but I couldn't imagine running it without the IR-3 (3"). Neither set will give you the desired response that can be provided by a good sub. But if you want accuracy and crystal sharp imaging, the 3-way is the way to go (no pun intended. But it would have been clever ).
