Couple of problems wiht my HU

I have a 1998 camry and its a pioneer deh670mp unit...maybe i need an adapter?? Also it wont take cds...i physically can't get them into the drive...i'm guessing its broke right?thx

Is the unit used or new? If it's still under warranty, it should be taken back. If not, the plastic slides that prevent a CD from entering the unit when a CD is already in there might be in the way.
