wow.....i never can get into these videos...


....i guess cuz the sound and rumble and punch of the bass is not there on my microscopic computer speakers...lol:-)

got them moving nicely but you should include something in the video of what they are donig... a cone can move 6 inches but only be hitting 120db.... show some flexing or something :-)

would it be that loud ported ? I dont think I can take much more I already feel deaf they sound clean and hit hard and man do they get low. and they are just in a 1 chamber sealed box. but can anyone help me out what exacly do I need to port the box I want to make it 2 chambers with around 9-10 cf per sub 48x24x29 inchs is the dimensions
for the box right now without 2 chambers I cant figure out those calculators can I get some help? I want it tuned to about 29hz

you DO NOT need 9-10 cuft per sub. 5 would be great, and you can easily tune that box to 29hz with a huge port too. it will SLAM then. just use a program and type in u want 29hz tune and 5 cuft net and keep adding port area until you reach 5cuft of port displacement... that is, after you separte into 2 chambers...

well, you take lets say the length of the port (im making up numbers) length 27 and width is 3 and height is 15 lets say. now for a slot port your width for port displacement is actually going to be 3.75 because you have the wall of the port. multiply that by height 15, then by length 27...

so 3.75x15x27=whatever... divide by 1728 and wha-la! you have your port displacement. for his application. say the drivber disp is .2 he will enter 5 cuft for net volume and then keep adding port area until his port displacement i 4.8cuft. hope that helps!

Wait, I have 1 more question about that site, Trevor. When it says "Enter Enclosure Volume" are they talking about before port/sub displacement or after you take all that into consideration?
