Greetings from CarDomain, We have an order for you for the Image Dynamics ID MAX 12 V.3 D2 subwoofer. This item was on factory backorder, and unfortunately we have received news from Image Dynamics that they will no longer be making this product. If there is a different subwoofer we can replace this item for, please let us know. Either way, please let us know what you would like to do with the order. I could buy it else where from a ebay seller or unauthrozied source, but i just dont want to support them right now. I am changing up things around and going with a smaller amplifier. Most likely another ppi a600.2 or JL 500/1 or X600.1 / Somthing along those lines for now unless somthing else comes up. Ill end up going back to JL since there subs are always great all around. |

I thought it was simply going to be the ID Max v4 (and this may be the case). Maybe it's just the v3s that won't be made anymore *shrugs* W6v2 is a great alternative to an ID Max, though. |

It is suppose to be very detailed and get low aswell. Suppose to be in the same league as a w6v2 and idmax. |

I also read someplace that they just buy the baskets off of tc to cut costs just thought i would throw that up there not saying it is a bad thing |

The guys who design and build the IDMax sub say that there was a delay with receiving parts they needed to build the last 300 or so 12" IDMaxV3 subs that they had on order. They are going to finish that final round of orders before commencing work on the IDMax V4. The new model should be better than the previous one and be available early this summer (according to the website, anyway). Specs are not available yet. |

I called Treo and they said its tuned @ 34hz which is perfect for in car response with that box since you usually loose about 10hz when you put it in a trunk of a car. Im probably not going to buy from mobilesoundworks.com because they are not authorized to sell Treo but my local dealer is about 1 hour away which will be worth the drive im sure. Photo of the Treo HOtbox for the tsx can be found here to give you guys an idea of how nice there box's are.
