Sunday, April 09, 2006 - 02:16 GMT I have a Pioneer TSW300R 12 that has an RMS wattage rating of 150W and a max of 600W @ 4 ohms. Would I be safe to use an amp with an RMS wattage of, say 300W @ 4 ohms?

Sunday, April 09, 2006 - 02:40 GMT it might hold it, but i really think it won't, why don't you turn the gain a lil down?

Monday, April 10, 2006 - 13:16 GMT try and get an amp thats about half of the max output of the sub, that way you know your not going to blow your sub!

Monday, April 10, 2006 - 14:10 GMT you're gonna say no, but i recommend you a profile amp, there is one that throws 310w at 4 ohm bridged, and it's very cheap at millionbuy.com

Wednesday, April 12, 2006 - 01:59 GMT An amps an amp to me, as long as it's a decent brand, I'm only really picky about my brand of sub and HU. Which Profile amp are you referring to?
