I have 2 12' Kicker L7's, Our audiobahn dealership in town has a sale on Kicker subs... He's wants to trade my L7's in an enclosed box for 4 Kicker 05C12-4. Its 4 12' Kicker Comps i believe in a slot box. He said my amp would push the 4 kickers. I have the room in my trunk to put them all in. Should i do it? I was going to enter my speakers in a local SPL competition... it aint much but i would win. Wondering if ill have a better SPL with 4 12'comps or 2 12'L7's?
Also looking for a website to buy Dynamat, for my trunk, and hood.
NOOOOOOO! the L7's would kill 4 of those comps. i know wattage isn't the only thing that makes a sub loud but the comp's 150w rms doesn't even compare to the L7's 750w rms. i've heard you can push those L7's with up to 1200w if you want to.
