Everything was ran nicely i grounded the amp to the wheel well. i had the amp on and went to plug the bananna clips into the back of the speaker box and got the CRAP shocked out of me. I wasnt wearing any shoes and i was standing on concrete. Whats up with that? bad ground? |

Gold Member Username: GlasswolfNorthWest, Michigan USA Post Number: 2608 Registered: Dec-03 | do me a favor. go to www.zapco.com go to products, then amplifiers, competition, C2K series go to the C2K4KW at the bottom, then download the PDF manual for that amp or for the 9.0X model. read the first section there talking about voltage risks, and heed the part where they mention that the speaker wires produce as much as 120 volts of electricity, and with a 60Hz tone, touching the wires with your fingers is the same as sticking your finger in an electrical outlet. The information there could serve you well. |
