Odyssey makes Stinger's batteries. Stinger just puts their name and price increase on them.

Look at kinetic too. or just go with the yellow top.

all good, not sure if ones better then the next though.

How does Optima Yellow top compare price/output wise??? Should I return my yellow and get a full size kinetik? In the end I won't be running more than 2000 watts...

i'm not sure if either is better then the other, but if you already got the yellow top, keep it.

If im running my system with a 200A HO alternator and 2 amps that put out a combined 1200 watts rms and a 1 farad cap to both amps.

Im planning to replace the old stock battery with a new one. What battery whould be the best choice for a starter in this case ?

I imagine a Optima Redtop or Yellowtop whould fit the bill. I use a yellowtop in my SUV as a starter and its been great so far. Seems like the Redtop is better off as a starter battery giving it more power in the first 10 sec etc...
Not sure which one to get.

So i went to sears and advance auto parts around my way and they didnt have a optima battery that fit my 1998 Toyota Camry.

What is the next option that will replace the stock battery for this car for my application.

Odyssey or Kenetic. they make several different versions of the Yellow top for different cars. why wouldn't it fit MO?? look at the CCA ratings if your concerned about starting. don't run a system off a Red Top alone. it'll be just like keeping the stock battery.

Here is what stinger emailed me with:

The SP1000 would be a great battery to replace the factory with. It is one of our most versatile and most sold batteries.
