Monday, March 27, 2006 - 14:17 GMT umm, as long as the alternators have the same common ground, then they should still be at 12volts I should think. If u series the batteries thats a nono! you want the batteries in parrallel with each other.. i would also use direct grd cables to each neg post! These are the problem u run into, trying to avoid a HO alternator..

Tuesday, March 28, 2006 - 06:52 GMT Two alts to one battery is fine. If they're both 12 volts, and you're just wiring them the same way you would, if only one alternator was connected, then you're fine.

Tuesday, March 28, 2006 - 15:31 GMT It will be fine alts only put out the power when its Needed/asked for so they wont give you 28V for Certain >> but if your alt has a Voltage Regulator plug ur gonna need more of those an ur also gonna have to hunt down the Right belt an of course Figure out how to make it work an Add on to or built the bracket to run two or more alts with
