Is 2" safe for port noise

bassfishing Silver Member Username: Langless28 Post Number: 355 Registered: Dec-04	Posted on Wednesday, March 22, 2006 - 17:34 GMT i was fooling round with my box design on winisd and it says in a 1.6cube box that 2 2"dia ports 9"in long would only produce vent mach of like .08 now i HATE when ports whistle cus im an sql freak. would a 2in port play it safe for no noise what so ever from the port? what im sayin is what chace does a 2in port have of whistling or making any noise?

(flared if you can get it)...or so a slot-vent, try to get 10sq inches of port per net cu ft.
