Explorer Speaker Tips

I know I have to get 6.5" speakers, but I don't know what I should get? Any suggestions? Plus I was told that if you have them wired to an amp, the amp for your highs and mids should be as close to the HU as possible...is this correct?
jake papa Silver Member Username: Jakeyplaysbass St. Louis, MO Post Number: 706 Registered: Jul-05	Posted on Monday, March 20, 2006 - 16:38 GMT do you want a component set of 6.5's (6.5' midbass and a 1' tweeteror) just the 6.5' speaker? how much money are you willing to spend on the speakers and amp? it doesnt matter where you place the amp in the car. you have to run wires to it no matter what.
