Gold Member Username: CenusHicksville, Ohio Usa Post Number: 1439 Registered: Jan-05 | SQ=sound quality SPL= how loud it is SQL= really loud and sounds good Eclipse subs are very good, have good sq and can get very loud in the right box, just make sure you have enough power, its 750wrms per coil. |

Bronze Member Username: NztunezNelsonNew Zealand Post Number: 25 Registered: Feb-06 | If you were to get the 15" or 18" Ti Pro http://www.eclipse-web.com/sw9100/sw9152pro.html and power it with a full 5000 watts with a good amp...I have no doubt you'd be close to deaf with prolonged listening. A few others that should make your ears bleed with extended play (provided you push them with sufficient clean amp power which is the real key to SPL): Treo SSX 15" or 18" http://www.treoonline.com/ssx.html RE XXX 15" or 18" or RE MT 15" or 18" http://www.reaudio.com/html/ Digital Designs 9915C 15" http://www.ddaudio.com/dd/caraudio/woofers.asp?series=9900c Soundstream XXX 15" http://www.soundstream.com/subwoofers-xxx.htm There are many others that when properly set up can make you sick as well. Remember though that you only have one set of ears and they need to last you a lifetime. These subs have the potential to seriously deafen you when pushed to their limits. |
