I'm looking for a Class AB, clean-sounding, compact, 4-channel amplifier to run my component speakers and rear-fills. This is a SQ setup so I'm looking for crystal-clear sound.

The amp needs to produce between 100-150W at 4 ohms.

The Alpine V-12 amps look interesting, but I wanted to ask the guys here if they could recommend any other brands. Also, are Alpine V12 amps worth the money?

I'm NOT interested in hearing about "dollars per watt" or any such nonsense. Since this purchase is about sound quality not sheer loudness, I'm willing to pay more for an amp as long as it delivers high-quality sound.

I want to spend less than 500 bucks.

Let's hear it...

Massive Audio RS 25.4. I have one for sale and one in my car. Sounds amazing.

I recently put in a fosgate p4004 for my components. It's very powerful and clean. An awesome amp. Sometimes I see people on the sidewalk singing along with what I'm playing.
