The AA Havoc is Dual 2 ohm. His amp is only 2 ohm stable. Plus it only puts out 1000rms @ 2ohms. I would still recomend the Havoc but you would need to purchase another 81000d and attach one to each voice coil on the Havoc. 2000rms would make that Havoc pound like a mofo.
think it would pound better then 4 thunder 7500s??... b/c i'm also thinkin about gettin that but theres to dam many subs runnin threw my head and i can't make up my mind
is that eclipse titaniums? uk i hear 2 12" eclipse before and they pounded like a mofo in an el dorado i just don't know what kinda they were.. what ones are good??
dont the PA mofo drop low ?when u guys say loud ull have me a lil confused.... okk compare the PA mofo's to a Pioneer3000spl....which one will go deeper and sound louder???or should i jus say which one will outplay which???
Well I have (not using anymore) a Mofo 12" and after hearing everyone talk sh.t about it I thought it was going to sound horrible when I got it, and it's not THAT bad. The thing that disapointed me was that it didn't get as loud as I thought. That was due to the box being way too small, and also I am finding out my amp and my electrical system may not be all that powerful, because I have hooked other things up to it recently (like a JL 12w6v2 in a JL sealed box, and it didn't impress me hooked up to my amp either)
As far as hitting the lows, yes the mofo can hit the LOWWWWWWS like you wouldn't believe. Like try that "Boston Acoustic Woofer test - Woofer Cooker" song on the mofo, it has a sweep from 60 hz down to 20 hz and it sounds like nothing I have heard before, lol.
The MOFO 12" has a rather high FS of 36 which prohibits low tuning in ported enclosures. and for a sub that handles 1200rms and has such a rediculously large surround it only has around 17mm of excursion one-way. By comparison, the AA Arsenal can handle around 750rms, FS 23, 20mm of excusion. The MOFO is mostly "all show, no go".
how big of a box would i need for the havoc.. i'm thinkin on tryin to learn how to do fiber glass and tryin to make a fiberglass box for it... what would u guys recomend
I would go either 2.5 cuft sealed. 3.5-4.5 cuft ported, tuned to 30 hz for daily driver(sql) setup, tune to the resonance frequency of your car if your into pure SPL(wont sound great, or drop really low, but will be loud)
