What box should i get and what 12 inch subs would have the most sql? $ isn't a problem, well i won't lie $ is a problem but still you get what you pay for and maybe when i can offord some of the subs you recomend i will get them. Your opinion would help alot. Silver Member Username: AlteraudiousaConcord Post Number: 449 Registered: Jan-06 | yeah the 2nd gen mag 12 in 1.58 or so cu ft box with 1200rms hit 139's and in a slightly larger 1.7cu ft box it did 140-141db. The RL-s is a superb sub but ONLY ONLY for those who have what it takes. In all honesty and you can ask Mike and he'll agree(he's the owner) the RL-s is for the most part a HT sub but can do well in cars. It requires huge enclosure size and lots of power, I mean lots of it, all in a 4ohm load. Not alot of amps can put out 2000-3000rms at 4ohm and the RL-s does better with more power. I passed on the demo ring because I didn't have what it would take to properly run it. I may ask Mike though if I can get the demo later and just pay for the shipping. And bigger is not always better, better products in a good install is always always better. |
