i want to know the prices of the reaudio subwoofers and u think with one 14 sx in a ported with a dcx1500.1 or 1000 rms at 2 ohm can i make over 140 db
Marshall White did 149db with a single 15sx and a jbl bp1200.1(1200rms or more(underrated)). So 140-142 is possible in a daily driver setup. But it really depends on you vehicle. its gonna be easier in a hatchback then in an Excursion.

right now i have two audiobahns aw12o6t in a ported box with two old sony p5 amp rated at 400 rms at 2 ohm one for each sub and i saw the videos on realm of excursion of the xxx subs and i dont know and dont take it seriously i can even hear the voices of the artis so i bough a sony xplod head unit that has the "dso" and now i can hear wath their sayin lil bit more my rearview mirror shakes like hell and when i close the doors and the windos are up my sideview mirros shake like hell too i can even see wats behind me trust me im not makin this up i think im hitting more than those in rea;m of excurion videos with this set up oohh i have polk 2 ways in the doors
i know all you said that audiobahn suck and sonys and all those things but my set up sound loud a lil bit of distorsion when the head unit is at full power and lounes is on but im telling you my sideview mirros move like they are gonna breakand im only pushing 800watts rms and i suppes two push 2200 watts rms to those sub right now i have a phoenix gold octane r 8.0.4 for the mids but im gonna change my subs my amps and my headunit beacause all of you saidn that audiobahn suck,dont buy anything by sony you know all those things
the old XXX is more of an SQ sub, but it can get loud...just just needs a lil more power to do so. i have a friend that runs 1 XXX 12...he does 141dB w/ a 2.25cuft box tuned to 35hz on an orion 1200d.
the new XXX on the otherhand is supposed to be a beast...
its hard 2 tell man...but by ur tone and by asking this question, i can see ur a noob ,so,just so ya know it depends on many things 1. power 2. car(i know ford friggan explorer) 3. install 4. box tune plenty of things
w/ 1500w and a good daily box...prolly tuned to ~35hz in a explorer. given that your cars electrical system can keep up w/ the amp....you should do low to mid 140s easily.
If you want straight spl i would look more towards kicker, like maybe a 15 l7 or something. Or better audioburns.....obviously if you like your current set up you don't care about the music and just like loud loud loud, so maybe some bigger audiobahns would suit you, they do get loud, but thats about all they do. As far as the old (well not old but not the new models comeing out) sx and xxx i've always heard that sx will get louder....
