Get a HO alternator first. Read carefully. However, if you keep the volume down, it'll be okay. Adding a capacitor will not help with voltage drop. That can only be resolved with HO alternator. Yellowtop battery is not useful, unless you also get isolator and install it properly. That will be as much as HO alternator's price. Price of HO alternator, $130 - $250 depending on your car and model. Yellowtop battery $135 - $160, isolator $40 - $100. Big 3 wire upgrades, $30 - $50. |
