You can get cheap and buy (4) Boss Ripper-D 3000Watt Amps and put 2 on each voice coil... and Bridge all 4 together... you'll get about (2200)*(4) 8800 watts ( 8200 rms ) |

Cam - My boss amp pushs 2100 or 2200 rms But since I have 2, and they are dataly connected and bridged, I have a Max 6000 watts, w/ 4600 rms b/c it drops to .5 ohm |

Gold Member Username: SouthernrebelMonroe, Louisiana USA Post Number: 2420 Registered: Mar-04 | DJ, boss amps wont put out anywhere near their rated power...i have owned and installed quite a few. i had a boss "2800w" amp once and i swapped it out for a jbl bp600.1...the JBL killed the boss on every level. also...one way to kinda guess-tamate how much an amp will put out is to do multiply fuse rating by input volage. 4*30= 120 120A * 14.4V = 1728w (and that is if the amp is 100% efficient...and nothing is 100% efficient) this would be a better guess: 1728 * 80% = 1382.4w |

So I cant see how your amplifier is able to put out 2200 rms @ 2 ohms(three times mine) with only twice the fuseing. Doesnt seem mathematicly sound to me. Peace |
