Sunday, March 12, 2006 - 04:28 GMT i built a box today i dont know how it happened but i guess i messed up a little bit and there is a small gap along the top of one side. i didnt have time to seal it today but the subs dont really sound that great. when i make the box airtight will it be better???

Sunday, March 12, 2006 - 06:04 GMT it wil make it a little better but not that much. it kinda depends on how big the gap is. you need to put silicone in all of the places where the wood butts.

Sunday, March 12, 2006 - 16:49 GMT i have everything totaly sealed with silicone and its all held together with screws and liquid nails there is just ONE spot where the wood didnt meet along one side.. i just need to figure out something to seal it with

Sunday, March 12, 2006 - 16:57 GMT cut like a 3/4 x 3/4 strip of wood & patch/secure it from the inside with nails/screws & def put some liquid nails 2 ensure its airtight . On the outside use some wood filler & when u have it carpetted no1 will know what mistakes u made .....
