Sunday, March 12, 2006 - 00:08 GMT My brother rewired his headunit and the ground and constant 12 volt wire touched.. but the wireharness was not connected to the H/U.Now the H/U does not turn on. what do i do to make it turn on??

Sunday, March 12, 2006 - 00:23 GMT Check the fuses before doing anything else. If they are all fine, you probably need to hook up the ignition wire as well to the head unit.

Sunday, March 12, 2006 - 02:38 GMT try running another ground or +12 and see. or use a meter to figure it out. no other way to tell. that should have just blew a fuse though. i have 2 fuse boxes in my car, one in the car and one under the hood. sure you don't have more someplace else??
