im giong to build two seperate enclosures for my 10cvr's to go behind the bench seat of my reg cab s10(1987)...i was wondering what size i should make them, kicker recommends .8cu.ft-3cu.ft(per sub), what size should i make them, i want spl, keep in mind the room behind the seats of a reg cab truck, so i cant go up to 3 cu.ft...thanx in advance..
First, 3 cuft is absolutely insane for a single 10, thats more space then most 15" woofers need sealed. I would give them around 1 cuft sealed each. But thats just me, see what some other people have to say.
well my brother has his 10in cvr's in a .6 or.8 box and they hit pretty hard, but lack a lot of low end, so its good if you listen to a lot of rock but any rap thats played will lack low end.
