When i run my big 3 should i use 4 gauge and if so do i need to fuse the line for alterator positive to battery positive or not ? Im confused with this part. |

Fuse isn't required, but it doesn't hurt just to protect the alternator. for 4AWG wire, I'd use a 125-150A fuse there.. rated to protect the wire pretty much in case of a dead short to prevent engine compartment fires. |

Post Number: 3226 Registered: Feb-05 | Ok can i use a 200A ANL fuse from battery positive to alternator positive instead of 225 since www.knukonceptz.com only has 150,200,250 Like this one http://www.knukonceptz.com/productDetail.cfm?prodID=FH-20 The alternator hes building me will be just shy of 200A total. |
