Gold Member Username: Suleman36Maryland U.S.A. Post Number: 3191 Registered: Feb-05 | First of all here are the price listings for there subs. http://www.ddaudio.com/dd/caraudio/pricesSubwoofers.asp No the 2500 series does not come in dual 2 ohm and only comes in dual 4 ohm. YOu could email digital designs and have them build a dual 2 ohm versian possibly. Its worth a try. Call them up or email them. They have great customer service. The 1000 series comes in single 4 ohm voice coil so that could be an option also and you could run 2 of them ported. That whould get loud. Let me know man. |

Post Number: 3195 Registered: Feb-05 | James, I have done alot of research and trial and error figuring out which subs to personally get and along that time i have heard and read all the top subs. If what your looking for is a SPL sub that can get loud and clean then go with the Digital Designs 3500 series. They will hit hard with about 600-1000 watts rms in a ported enclosure tuned to 40hz. There site will help you with the box design or you can call them or email them. They have the best build quality of any subwoofer out there. JL is also up there in buildu quality. These subs can take a beating and still sound good over many years. They are very loud and clean. Trust me on this one. I whould save up and get a amp that can do at least 600 rms like the crossfire vr600d or kicker kx600.1 or somthing along the lines of 600-1000 watts rms. Get the 3500 and go ported and you will get loud with that single 12. If you cant save up any more money then i whould check out the 1000 series and definetly ask DD on the phone what they think. They are good with helping you out and our experts in this. |

Get a true 1000 watt class D amp and then get the DD3512 subwoofer and go ported at 40hz and as far as bass/spl, You will have it covered my friend. |

Bronze Member Username: Sw9152Post Number: 56 Registered: Feb-06 | didn't pioneer have something like 16 of them though? |
Silver Member Username: N2audioLawrence, Ks USA Post Number: 699 Registered: Mar-04 | 13, and your point is taken, but there have been plenty of set ups of that size in spl comps. None of them have put up numbers like that. Is it the best SPL sub you can get...maybe not, but I thing it's at least worth considering. For 500w the 3000spl would probably be the one to check out. |
